There was no safe place.
When war broke out in Syria. the Almohammed family fled for their lives—only to spend nearly a decade in a refugee camp. After years of waiting, the family finally came to the United States and was resettled in Fargo, North Dakota by the Global Refuge team.
As they settled into their new home, they shared their hopes and dreams for their family's future in “the country of safety.”
