A Ukrainian Refugee, Three Years Later
The Global Refuge team first met Irina three years ago. The former kindergarten teacher had fled Ukraine shortly after the Russian invasion and was resettled with the help of Ascentria Care Alliance. Three years later, she has found love, health, happiness, and a promising new career path—but her heart is still not whole, sharing her dreams for the future and her family.
We hope that our Ukraine will again be strong, beautiful, and powerful.
