The humanitarian situation continued to deteriorate as the Israeli military operation in Gaza entered its thirteenth day. Reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 758 Palestinian’s have died in the conflict and at least 3,100 have been injured. chin news Chin Famine:
The Chin State, located in northwest Burma, is suffering from a devastating famine that only happens every 50 years. The famine, which they call the Bamboo Flowering Famine, has affected at least 100,000 Chin and 200 villages. A plague of rats are depleting the Chin’s food source hi resulting in starvation for the people.
