Live Global with GRI
GRI has full-time positions available at project sites worldwide. GRI provides a unique opportunity to live among and serve those who have been displaced by persecution, poverty, war or disaster.

Live Global is an exciting program designed to mobilize motivated individuals with previous humanitarian aid experience to live with and serve people in need around the world.  Live Global programs are one year in length with the option to extend.  Live Global staff members will serve in many leadership positions globally with the purpose of contributing to GRI’s long term work.  Positions will be available in medicine, logistics, operations, counseling and many other areas of work.

Selection criteria
While previous cross-cultural experience is not a must, it is considered in the selection process. Course of study in college/graduate school, relevant work experience, and volunteer experience is also considered.

All Live Global applicants must: be self-motivated and possess initiative; be able to work long hours; be willing to live in difficult living conditions; be teachable; be able to work well in groups and alone; speak and write in English; be proficient in Microsoft Office; possess excellent organizational, reporting, and research skills; be detail-oriented; be able to communicate and interact well with people of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds; be a good steward of resources; possess a strong work ethic; and demonstrate ethical maturity.
