Over 98% of children with HIV are infected through mother-to-child transmission. Without interventions, over 50% of all HIV- infected children die before their second birthday. However, WE can prevent this.

-HIV testing and counseling for mothers and fathers
-Prenatal check ups
-Initiation of Anti-Retroviral therapy during pregnancy
-Transportation to a health center
-Delivery by a skilled birth attendant
-Drug treatment given at birth
-After birth care by skilled attendants
